This 157nm VUV grade CaF2 with enhanced transmission is mounted on a 2.75 inch Conflat flange made of low mu stainless steel with magnetic permeability less than 1.010. It has excellent transmission from 125nm nm in the ultraviolet through 10.5 microns in the infrared. The threaded mount mates with safety cover and protective cap using the SM05 Lens Tube System*. A transparent 6mm thick polycarbonate protective cover is available for safe viewing while the primary CaF2 window is not in service. It may also be purchased with a protective anodized aluminum cap for greater thermal uniformity during bake-out.
