This fused silica UHV viewport is deep ultraviolet (DUV) grade and has excellent transmission from 200 nm in the UV to 2.2 microns in the infrared. The non-magnetic UHV mount is a 2.75" Conflat flange made of Low-mu stainless steel with a magnetic permeability of less than 1.010. The threaded mount mates with a safety cover and protective cap using the SM1 Lens Tube System*. A clear 6mm polycarbonate protective cover is available for safe viewing when the primary SiO2 window is not in use. It can also be purchased with a protective anodized aluminum cap for greater thermal uniformity during bake-out.
