The threaded mount mates with a safety cover and protective cap using the SM05 Lens Tube System*. A clear 6mm polycarbonate protective cover is available for safe viewing when the primary SiO2 window is not in use. It can also be purchased with a protective anodized aluminum cap for greater thermal uniformity during bakeout.
