This UV grade MgF2 extended range UHV viewport has excellent transmission from 200 nm in the ultraviolet through 8.5 microns in the infrared. It is mounted on a low mu stainless steel 4.50 inch Conflat flange. It is available with a protective anodized aluminum cap for greater thermal uniformity during bake-out. It is also available with a transparent 6mm thick polycarbonate cover for safe viewing while primary window is not in service. The threaded mount mates with the protective cap or safety cover using the SM2 Lens Tube System*.
