This magnesium fluoride extended range UHV viewport is of ultraviolet (UV) grade and has excellent transmission from 200 nm in the UV through 8.5 microns in the infrared. The standard UHV mount is a 1.33 inch Conflat flange made of 304 stainless steel. The threaded mount mates with safety cover and protective cap using the SM05 Lens Tube System*. A transparent 6mm thick polycarbonate protective cover is available for safe viewing while the primary MgF2 window is not in service. It may also be purchased with a protective anodized aluminum cap for greater thermal uniformity during bake-out.
