This zinc selenide extended range UHV viewport is of infrared (IR) grade and has good transmission in the visible and excellent transmission through 20 microns in the infrared. It is mounted on a non-magnetic, low mu stainless steel 1.33 inch Conflat flange. These flanges have a magnetic permeability less than 1.010. It is available with transparent 6mm thick polycarbonate cover for safe viewing while primary window is not in service. It is also available with a protective anodized aluminum cap for greater thermal uniformity during bake-out. The SM threaded mount mates with safety cover and protective cap using the SM05 lens tube system.*
