This ZnSe window is mounted in a non-magnetic, 4.50 inch Conflat flange. The UHV flange is made from low mu stainless steel and has a magnetic permeability of less than 1.010. Zinc Selenide has excellent broad range transmission from the visible to 20 microns in the infrared. For safe viewing while primary window is not in service it is available with transparent 6mm thick polycarbonate cover. It is also available with a protective anodized aluminum cap for greater thermal uniformity during bake-out. The threaded mount mates with safety cover and protective cap using the SM2 lens tube system.*
