This UHV Viewport is mounted on a non-magnetic, 4.50 inch Conflat. Made of low mu stainless steel it has a magnetic permeability of less than 1.010. The ZnSe window is broadband anti-reflective coated with an enhanced transmission range from 8 to 12 microns in the infrared. For safe viewing while primary window is not in service it is available with transparent 6mm thick polycarbonate cover. It is also available with a protective anodized aluminum cap for greater thermal uniformity during bake-out. The threaded mount mates with safety cover and protective cap using the SM2 lens tube system.*
