This broadband coated UHV zinc selenide window is mounted on a 304 stainless steel, 4.50 inch Conflat flange The ZnSe window has enhanced transmission over the broad of 8 to 12 microns in the infrared. It also has good transparency in the visible. For safe viewing while primary window is not in service it is available with transparent 6mm thick polycarbonate cover. It is also available with a protective anodized aluminum cap for greater thermal uniformity during bake-out. The threaded mount mates with safety cover and protective cap using the SM2 lens tube system.*
